Equipment

Inmarsat voice and data services are accessed by a range of portable, fixed or vehicular BGAN terminals, which provide features and performance options to suit different operational needs. Standard terminals are highly portable and can be used both indoors and outdoors..

The smallest terminals, not much larger than a paperback book, are designed to suit single users and larger ones, the size of a laptop, offer more accessories and better bandwidth performance to fit mobile users requiring high-speed applications. Vehicular BGAN can be mounted onto trucks or vehicles and can communicate on-the-move.
